Mr. Adams' Diary: 4th Entry

Dear Diary,

I've had a lot of time to ponder today.

And, mainly, it's been while I've been asleep. I've been doing that A LOT today.

After that thing whatever it was wouldn't leave us alone last night, I am seriously sleep deprived. I mean, this is how Mr. Milton found me when he got to school this morning.

I fell asleep with the 32nd cup of coffee I had yesterday in my hand. I couldn't even get to the couch where I was planning to sleep for the night.

Then, while I doing last minute work for today's lesson, I almost had a tragic accident.

Fortunately, one of my fellow teachers gave me a hand.

Then, during my planning period, I was on my way to the cafeteria for lunch duty. One minute, I was strutting down the main hall, the next, I was waking up on the floor with a student nudging me with his toe. "Mr. Adams, the floor ain't a bed," he said.

It continued during lunch duty. Apparently, I didn't wake up for the food fight. Ms. Buras caught a slice of apple pie in the face.

That's when I got sent to TOR with a referral. It's been a stressful day so far.
Now, Diary, I stole these photos from the school's files. I'm only sharing them with you, then I'm going to burn them. I know you'll make sure no one else sees them.

That's all for now.

STICKLAND DOCTORS

DON'T GET CAUGHT GOING TO THIS DOCTOR

SURVIVE SURVIVE SURVIE

Well, we made it through the night. Don't believe everything you hear. The people from Roswell (Area 51) made an unexpected stop last night when they intercepted the talking about aliens on their super secret alien web catcher type scanner. We were sworn to secrecy, but you know how rumors start. Please let me know if you notice any changes in Mr. Adams or Mr. Crawford, because I've heard aliens can take over your mind and body. It's scary enough at night with those two without having to be worried if they are scary mutant aliens.
Peters---OUT!

We made it through the night...

We have managed to make it through the night, but what lies in store for us tonight? Last night was such a horrible expierience. The boats never came to rescue me. What lies in store for us tonight? Is there anyway we can avoid the monster for two more nights. I don't know...
-Crawford

Ugh...

So. Tired. Must. Drink. More. Monster!

Sweeeeeeet. I think I can adequately assault this day. Now, on to my morning cups of coffee.

Speaking of monsters, I don't know what that thing was, but it's gone for now. I don't doubt for a second, though, that it will be back!

I've changed my mind!

I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind! I've changed my mind!

I don't know if I can do this anymore!

It's 2:35 in the morning. School dismissed 12 hours ago and things have just gotten worse since then! I've locked myself in my room! Mr. Peters is skipping around the school in his poster costume singing Three Blind Mice while picking his nose. And Mr. Crawford! Well, Mr. Crawford is standing on a chair in the library screaming that he's on a raft in the middle of the ocean! He's calling to boats to come rescue him!

And there's something else in here! It cornered us in Mr. Milton's office after we saw it on the security cameras! We don't know what it is! It left after awhile and now I don't know where it is!

We didn't think the school at night would do this to us! We thought we could temp fate! Forgive us for our arrogance! Please! I just want night to be over and for my kids to come back!

Wait...something's at the door...oh, no! It's not Peters or Crawford! It's something else! It's scratching an banging at the door! It's trying to get in!

Locked in Mr. Milton's Office

SCARY. VERY, VERY VERY, VERY, VERY SCARY. The three of us are locked inside Mr. Milton's office with only a flashlight and Mr. Adams glow in the dark shoes. There's been noises that we can't say over the wire because repeating them may bring back whatever it was. I hope we got a picture of what the thing was. Mr. Crawford thinks it's a ghost, Mr. Adams thinks it came back on one of the rockets he was creating, and Mr. Peters thinks all of this is a figment of his imagination. Tell us what you think this is?

TAKING OVER YOUR SCHOOL EARTHLINGS

Alert!

Somethings been moving around the school! Crawford was telling this story about a ghost, how he did battle with it, but Peters and I were skeptical.

Until we saw this on the security cameras.

Wow! What an adventure

Thanks for covering guys. I'm sorry loyal readers that i haven't been able to blog. I've been battling the SMS ghost for the past two hours. We started in the boys locker room and wrestled all the way to the 8th grade hall. I need to pause here to apologize to the teachers whose room where destroyed. After our battle on the 8th grade hall we moved to the 7th grade hall. I apologize Ms. Holden and Mrs. Carriere for what has happened to your room. Here I have to stop because it is too tragic to tell. Mr. Peters however said he wants everyone to come by his room tomorrow so he can tell the rest of the story. For now I have to heal my wounds and clean up the mess made in Mrs. Davis' room, but which Ms. Davis?
-Crawford

I've been busy!

Good news! I liberated the dodgeball that's been stuck in the gym rafters!

After which, I hunted down Peters and Crawford and got them out with it! Peters was talking to his wife on the phone when I got him in the noggin and Crawford was eating Spaghettios when I got him in the noggin!

It was like Most Dangerous Game-style.

Speaking of delicious food, we've had students bring us wonderful foodstuffs tonight! Right now we're feasting on ravioli with Vienna sausages and chocolate cake! I'm getting so full.

Oh, wait...yep, Crawford just passed into a food coma. I'm going to eat the rest of his cake.

-Mr. Adams

Where the mind wanders...

MR. Adams said he was bored and that made me bored. Here it is 8:40 and I looked over at this Snickers and I wondered how in the world did they come up with the name Snickers. Here a few possiblilities that I came up with.

1. The people at the Candybar factory looked at the baker and noticed he had chocolate all over his face from loving himself some candy. The Snickers (laughter) lasted for hours and the name stuck

2. The people at the Candybar factory all had a lisp and it was supposed to be Stickers because it is so sticky, but the advertising people heard Snickers, so it stuck.

3. No solution could be agreed on, so they took the first letter of each baker who helped in the ingredients and Sally, Ned, Irene, Corey, Kip, Ellen, Rod, and Sherod equaled SNICKERS and the name stuck

4. While formulating the ingredients for the candybar, the bakers were watching the original "Godzilla," and every time the giant lizard would scream it sounded like it was saying SNICKERS. They all thought that would be a great trivia question one day and the name stuck.

5.The real story-which is way less interesting than all the rest- Franklin Mars, the owner of the Snickers, named the tasty treat after his family's favorite race horse.

Really, Really, come on, I think my stories are way more fun.

Long live Snickers!
Peters----OUT!

Attendance and Bad Luck

I'm so bored I've been looking over my attendance records for the year.

There's this one student who has only missed two days this year. Now, that may seem unassuming enough. But guess what--the two days he's missed?

The two Friday-the-13ths.

Is something suspicious going on or has he just had bad luck getting to school on those days?

Something to ponder.

Mr. Peters Enters the Poster Contest

Mr. Peters has entered the Poster Contest.

Shout Outs!

First, a few of the many papers on box-and-whisker plots from my 2nd hour class. Because of the SACS interview I took part in today and the Pizza for Champions honor roll celebration, during 1st and 4th hours respectively, 2nd hour was the only class to get this far today. (1st and 4th hour, don't worry, you'll be finishing up tomorrow--2nd hour, you have an extension activity you'll all dig. I promise.)

Second, a huge shout out to my 1st hour for being so great for Dr. Dotie who was covering my class while I was in the SACS interview! You're all total rock stars! I do have to mention at this point, 1st hour is the class that 2nd and 4th are trying to overtake, because 1st hour had the highest class average on the last Edusoft test! The next Edusoft test is next Friday! Drum roll, please!

HOW I FEEL

With time on my hands...

...I wrote The Great American Novel.

Only to have it erased when I spilled tea on my keyboard.

STICK IT OUT--CARTOON

MR. CRAWFORD AND MR. ADAMS IN A PHILOSOPHICAL DEBATE- YOU DECIDE WHICH IS WHICH

NICKNAMES OR REAL NAMES

I'm catching my second wind. I'm feeling rather well, actually. Tomorrow when you come to school try and see if you can see the very subtle changes in your classrooms. We have been having a little fun and who knows who will be the victims and who will be the lucky few to escape the MIDNIGHT MADNESS. Oh yeah, don't forget to ask Mr. Adams and Mr. Crawford what their new nicknames are......THEY ARE HILARIOUS!

Mr. Adams' Diary: 3rd Entry

Dear Diary,

I know Mr. Peters' has been having a hard time staying awake. I saw him asleep fall asleep while walking in the hall. One minute he was walking. The next, asleep standing straight up!

Diary, Mr. Peters isn't the only one having a hard time. I also have been caught dozing off at inopportune times. One of my rascal kids snapped this photo of me while we were finding percents of a circle graph as degrees.

Yes, Diary, I immediately confiscated the camera and wrote the student 3 million referrals for embarrassing me--so I only share this photo with you, Diary. One of my greatest humiliations.

All the coffee I consumed earlier in the day is coming back to haunt me, as I am continually dozing off.

I need to find something to wake me up soon, Diary, or I might fall asleep and not wake up until the start of school tomorrow. And I need to shower tonight. I'm starting to stink a little bit.

Uh oh, my eyelids are starting to get heavy agiansdddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
